'The Freedom of Acceptance' (2024)

An exploration of positionality. This piece features a dynamic composition reflecting the fluidity of gender and sexuality. Organic overlapping shape created from burnt paper achieves a flowing, interconnected wave. Subtly, 'the freedom of acceptance' is positioned within the postcard, echoing a sentiment of the inner peace found from embracing one's identity.

'MORE MORE!!! MORE' (2024)

An exploration of interests. A chaotic mixed media collage highlighting the intersection of various interests and hobbies. Created on acrylic painted canvas with cut paper, hand-sewing, and freeform crochet. Boldly scattered across the composition, 'MORE MORE!!! MORE' is a manifestation of the creative's urge to design more.

'The Warmth of Home' (2024)

An exploration of locality. This piece combines the environment of my regional Victorian hometown and South-East Melbourne to create a harmonious composition. The colour palette is inspired by my regional hometown, particularly from the warm toned dirt and hot, dry summers. However, the contrasting harshness of the geometric mountains reflect South-East Melbourne, alongside the pine tree linocut pattern residing within the lower mountain form. Tenderly written, 'the warmth of home' captures the solace of home.

'Leaving The Nest' (2024)

An exploration of lived experience. This postcard follows the narrative of a young creative who is captivated by the grandeur of the city, creating a dynamic composition through the movement and interaction of the geometric cityscape. An outsider amongst the bold city, the bird remains determined, drawn to the hue of the flashing lights. Unveiling the uncertainty and excitement of moving away, 'leaving the nest' captures a glimpse of hope.
